Kendrick Lamar Fan I Got Screwed Out of Meet & Greet ... GIMME $1 MIL!!

Image
A die-hard Kendrick Lamar fan paid $350 for a backstage meeting, but got banned from the concert after Kendrick's manager tried to bamboozle her for $10,000 ... according to a lawsuit.  Whitney Larkin says she emailed Lamar's manager, Dave Free , asking for 3 minutes of one-on-one time with Lamar ... on top of the $350 VIP meet and greet package she'd purchased. In a lawsuit she filed on her own, Larkin says Free replied she could get the 3 minutes for a "cash payment of $10,000."

Pharrell and Kendrick Lamar Perform ‘Alright’ at Cali Christmas

The stars aligned at Power 106’s Cali Christmas on Friday night. In addition to performances from Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Macklemore, and Travis Scott, Pharrell Williams delivered an upbeat set at The Forum in L.A. After running through hits like “Freedom” and “Happy,” “The Voice” coach introduced special guest Kendrick Lamar. The crowd went wild as the two performed the Pharrell-produced “Alright” off To Pimp a Butterfly for the first time together. While backstage, Pharrell also told Ty Dolla $ign that he wants to work with him after hearing him on Big Sean’s “Play No Games.” WEGONBEALRIGHT @kendricklamar Thank you Inglewood and @Power106LA #CaliChristmas pic.twitter.com/BL9npsuKkv — Pharrell Williams (@Pharrell) December 5, 2015

New Music: Ty Dolla $ign feat. Kendrick Lamar, Brandy, & James Fauntleroy – ‘LA’

Ty Dolla $ign puts on for his city with the latest release from his upcoming album Free TC . So it only made sense that he took to the airwaves of Los Angeles radio station Real 92.3 to premiere the hometown anthem, produced by D’Mile, Chordz, and Ty himself. The song, which previously leaked in demo form, features L.A.’s own Kendrick Lamar and James Fauntleroy, along with Brandy.

Kendrick Lamar Letter to Tupac Shakur

Tupac Shakur was killed in Las Vegas 19 years ago today. On the anniversary of his death, one of his disciples, Kendrick Lamar, has shared some heartfelt words about the late rap legend. In the letter, which was posted on 2Pac’s official website , the Compton rapper reflects on the first time he saw his idol on set of the “California Love (Remix)” video, which was shot at the Compton Swap Meet near his home.

Here's Kendrick Lamar Relentlessly Crushing His Late Show With Stephen Colbert Set

If Colbert's very first late-night musical treat set the tone , this one set it in stone (and will be one helluva act to follow). Kendrick last night unleashed a medley of To Pimp a Butterfly songs — "Wesley's Theory," "Momma," "King Kunta," and "u" — in a purposefully stilted set that reimagined his hits with relentless force; it felt like one long, beautifully tragic poem, a veritable doozy. Here's Kendrick, the master, at work:
