BET saluted the best in hip-hop over the past year at the 10th annual BET Hip-Hop Awards, which were taped at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center on Friday night (Oct. 9). For the third year in a row, Snoop Dogg presided as host and brought the laughs with his GGN skits.

FUTURE BRINGS ‘MARCH MADNESS’ TO STREAMY AWARDS

Future brought “March Madness” to the 2015 Streamy Awards at the Hollywood Palladium, whichaired live on VH1. Following an intro from JoJo, the ATLien performed the track off his DJ Esco-assisted mixtape56 Nights. Flames lit up the stage, while footage from Ferguson, New York, and Baltimore showed on the screen behind him. NeNe Leakes and Mel B were seen dancing alongin the audience.In addition to Future, the fifth annual show featured performances from Alessia Cara and Sir Mix-A-Lot. Future’s ex Ciara was also in the house to presentthe award for Best Comedy Series.

During his highly-anticipated set at the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia on Sunday (Sept. 6), the leader of the Freeband Gang announced some exciting news. Before the year is out, he will release a second album.

In the last hour of the day, the Atlanta rapper comes through with a teaser for “Where Ya At?,” one of the biggest records off his No. 1 album Dirty Sprite 2 . In the clip, directed by Rick Nyce for Freebandz Films, the Freeband leader suits up and hits the streets with DJ Esco before connecting with Drake in what appears to be a church. Drizzy only makes a brief cameo, so you’ll have to wait to see the rest when the full video drops later this month.

After tweeting the venue earlier in the day, fans lined up at The Roxy in West Hollywood, hoping to score a wristband to the midnight show. However, they didn’t anticipate the demand—the venue’s capacity is 500, but way more showed up.
