Two Killed in MTV's The Challenge Helicopter Crash
A helicopter crash in Argentina has left two dead, the AP reports. The helicopter, which contained the pilot and a technician, was traveling to a location for MTV's show The Challenge
when it crashed into a reservoir approximately 600 miles from Buenos
Aires. A police representative told El Sol the helicopter was not
authorized to travel over the dam, and the cause of the crash is still
unknown. This is, unfortunately enough, the second reality
show-connected helicopter crash in Argentina this year; in March, a pair
of helicopters working on the French survivalist show Dropped collided mid-air in northwestern Argentina, killing all 10 people aboard. The show was subsequently canceled.
