Kanye West Brings Out Rihanna, Travi$ Scott at FYF Fest
In the wake of Frank Ocean’s cancelation,
Kanye West headlined Day 1 of FYF Fest at the L.A. Memorial Sports
Arena & Exposition Park on Saturday (Aug. 22). Ocean’s absence was
quickly forgotten when Mr. West touched the stage to deliver hit after
hit—from “Jesus Walks” to “Black Skinhead.” While performing
“FourFiveSeconds,” he spotted Rihanna in the pit and passed her the mic
so she could sing the chorus.
“L.A., make some noise for my ni**a Kanye,” said RiRi, while West returned the love: “Make some noise for Rihanna in the crowd.”
During the last 10 minutes of his set, he attempted to perform “one hit a minute,” and this time brought Rihanna on stage for “All of the Lights,” which elicited the largest crowd reaction of the night.
